Publication 250
In addition to the Rules of the State Bar, other legal authority applies to the State Bar of California and its members. Publication 250 is a selective compilation that authority. It includes the judicial article of the California Constitution (Article VI), California Rules of Court, the sections of the Business & Professions Code known as the State Bar Act, and other statutes.
Publication 250 is updated annually and available by mail for $20. It may also be purchased at the San Francisco or Los Angeles offices of the State Bar for $15. Ordering information is available at 415-538-2148. The contents of Publication 250 is also online free of charge via the links below.
